OPPO A72 5G was the first smartphone to powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G SoC and it’s no surprise to see realme become the second brand to adopt the same processor.

The realme V5 is a mid range smartphone that sports a 6.5-inch IPS Full HD+ resolution display and features 90Hz refresh rate. There’s a hole punch that houses a 16-megapixels front camera. The 5G capable processor is mated with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage technology.

Camera wise, it has a quad-rear camera setup; 48-megapixels main shooter, an 8-megapixels ultra-wide-angle, 2-megapixels black & white sensor and a 2-megapixels macro lens.

Powering the device is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports realme’s 30W SuperDart charge. The realme V5 5G offers in China at RMB 1,499 (~MYR 908)
