MediaTek announced their budget-friendly MediaTek Dimensity 720 last week and the first smartphone to be powered is no other OPPO. MediaTek has been working hands in hands with OPPO by supplying chipset for the company’s mid-range devices.
Today, OPPO China announced its latest A-series, the OPPO A72 5G. It features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. On the display is a hole-punch notch that houses an 8-megapixels front camera.
The MediaTek Dimensity is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can further expand via microSD card.
Camera wise; triple-rear camera setup; 16-megapixels main camera, an 8-megapixels ultra-wide-angle and 2-megapixels depth sensor.
The OPPO A72 5G is packed with 4,040 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charge via USB Type-C. It will be running on ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
The OPPO A72 5G is now offered in China for RMB 1,899 (~MYR 1,154) and comes in three colour options; Simple Black, Pearly White & Neon
