U Mobile today launched Malaysia first 5G consumer live trial at the Berjaya Times Square, where’s the company headquarters is based.

According to the company, all its SIMs are ready for 5G so as long as your device is 5G capable (NSA, 100Mhz, C-band) you can walk into Berjaya Times Square to test it out starting from today until 31st December 2020.

Fast Forward with U Mobile 5G is just one such initiative where we are fast forwarding into the future to give our customers a chance to have real-world experience of 5G.” Said Wong Heang Tuck, CEO of U Mobile.

Currently, only a few 5G devices supported which include the HUAWEI P40-series, HUAWEI Mate30 Pro 5G and HUAWEI Nova 7 SE 5G.
