Today vivo introduced a new cutting-edge aesthetic design technology by bringing the colour-changing electrochromic glass.

The new technology enables users to shift hues on the panel when a current is applied. This allows the glass to changes it’s colour or opacity when voltage is applied to it.

Here’s a reference video of the electrochromic glass that uses on an unknown vivo smartphone.

This technology wasn’t that new as it was commonly used as smart glass or switchable glass where it can change glass from transparent to translucent. It was also found on a smartphone but not on the rear glass instead of the camera where OnePlus showcased early this year with the OnePlus Concept One.
