HONOR Returned with Google Mobile Services on Their HONOR 50 5G – Malaysia Launch on 18th October 2021

HONOR launched its HONOR 50 series about 4 months ago in China and it’s reaching Malaysia’s shore on 18th October 2021.

This was confirmed by HONOR Malaysia announcing a media launch live stream on 18th October 2021, at 8 pm on HONOR Malaysia’s Facebook Page.

From their press release and Facebook’s status, it seems that they will only bring the standard HONOR 50 where it missed out on the 100W fast-charging and dual front camera. The HONOR 50 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G, equipped with a 6.52-inch dua; side-curved OLED with 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling.

Featuring quad rear camera setup; 108-megapixels f/1.9 aperture main camera, an 8-megapixels f/2.2 ultrawide, a 2-megapixels macro and a depth sensor. Packed with a 4,300 mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging.

The HONOR 50 series will be the first device by the company which now offered Google Mobile Services after it departed from HUAWEI. Still, there are a lot of HUAWEI’s DNA features on the HONOR 50.

  • HONOR 50 5G 8GB + 128GB – RMB 2,699 (~RM 1,743)
  • HONOR 50 5G 8GB + 256GB – RMB 2,999 (~RM 1,937)
