vivo has just launched its first smartwatch, the vivo WATCH.
It’s a circular stainless-steel body and uses ceramics on its bezel. There are a total of six sensor system on the smartwatch including SpO2, accelerometer, barometer, geomagnetism, ambient light and GPS sensors.
There are two sizes; 42mm and 46mm with 1.19-inch (390 x 390) and 1.39-inch (454 x 454) AMOLED touch display. There are two types of straps offered; Nappa leather and Fluoroelastomer which is a synthetic leather.
Besides that, the vivo WATCH supports 5ATM water resistance, calories monitoring, music control, Always-on-Display, NFC and has a battery life up to 18 days. vivo didn’t mention what’s the operating system, likely they are running on its own watchOS similar to HUAWEI’s LiteOS.
The vivo WATCH is priced at RMB 1,299 (~MYR 795) and available for pre-order now on vivo China E-store until 28th September 2020. No words it will be coming to Malaysia market anytime soon.
