realme 8 & 8 Pro Launched in India – 108MP Camera & Both Gets 180Hz Touch Sampling

realme has just launched its latest realme 8-series smartphones; realme 8 and realme 8 Pro. This was almost 6 months after they released the realme 7 and 7 Pro with a slight improvement in term of hardware.

The realme 8 is still powered by MediaTek Helio G95 where there realme 8 Pro get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. Both comes with configurations up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1.

Both now equipped with 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ resolution display with 180Hz touch sampling and features in-display fingerprint scanner. The main differences that tells them apart is the camera setup and battery capacity.

The realme 8 Pro get a Samsung HM2 108-megapixels main camera where the realme 8 packed with a 64-megapixels camera. The duo paired with an 8-megapixels ultrawide, 2-megapixels macro and a 2-megapixels monochrome camera. The front selfie camera is a 16-megapixels SONY IMX471 with an f/2.45 aperture.

Coming to battery, the realme 8 Pro packed with 4,500 mAh battery that supports 50W SuperDart Charge whereas the realme 8 gets a 5,000 mAh supports 30W Dart Charge.

The realme 8 Pro comes in three colour options; Illuminating Yellow, Infinite Black and Infinite Blue as well as two configurations; 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. Priced at INR 17,999 (~RM 1,027) and INR 19,999 (~RM 1,141) respectively.

As for the realme 8, two colour options; Cyber Silver and Cyber Black with three configurations; 4GB + 18GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB with prices INR 14,999 (~RM 856), INR 15,999 (~RM 919) and INR 16,999 (~RM 970) respectively.
