Qualcomm introduced its first smartphone which designed by ASUS and yes they named it Snapdragon Insiders.
Of course, it will be powered by their most powerful Snapdragon processor, the Snapdragon 888 coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Snapdragon Insiders will be sporting a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED with 144Hz refresh rate display from Samsung and protected with Corning Gorilla Victus. There’s a 24-megapixels front camera and features dual-stereo speakers.
Photography-wise, 64-megapixels SONY IMX686 main camera, a 12-megapixels SONY IMX363 with the dual-pixel image sensor and an 8-megapixels 3x optical zoom. What? Is this the ASUS ROG Phone 5 in disguise?
The main differences are it paired with only 4,000 mAh battery and no gaming bell and whistle that the ASUS ROG Phone 5 has. Weirdly enough it features a rear physical fingerprint scanner based on Qualcomm 3D sonic sensor gen 2. Since it’s a Qualcomm smartphone, it also features Qualcomm aptX Adaptive and Snapdragon Sound technology that paired perfectly with Snapdragon Sound TWS earbuds. It will be bundled together inside the box along with Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 (65W), Rubber Bumper and two USB C to C braided cables.
