OPPO yesterday unveiled their concept phone, OPPO X 2021 during OPPO INNO day. It’s the world first working rollable OLED display smartphone.
This concept is not new as it was shown before by TCL but never showcased with a working device. OPPO X 2021 has a more conventional size when its normal form with a 6.7-inch display. The company introduced Warp Track at the bottom of the display that would pull out the OLED display, transforming it from 6.7-inch to a 4:3 ratio 7.4″. This method will not leave any crease on the display, unlike the foldable phones.
Still, this is just a concept phone that yet to be use commercially but it would deploy when the software and hardware are ready.
