Was walking around at Low Yat Plaza this evening and noticed the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A2 is made available to purchase at one of the official Mi Store. This was way earlier than its official launch.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 is the second Android One smartphone after its successor Mi A1. The Mi A2 is powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 which is currently the most powerful mid-range SoC by the company.

I was surprised the Mi A2 is priced at RM 999 for its based model with the configuration of 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. Camera wise is a dual rear camera system with 12-megapixels sensor plus a 20-megapixels sensor. It equipped with a 20-megapixels sensor selfie camera.

To keep the lights on is a 3,300 mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0. Just like the Xiaomi Mi A1, the Mi A2 runs on real Pure Android Operating System.

Unfortunately, there are no demo units available but you may purchase it right off from the store for only RM 999 now.
