HTC Making A Comeback with Metaverse Smartphone – HTC Desire 22 Pro

HTC is making a comeback by launching its latest smartphone, the HTC Desire 22 Pro, which is boasted to offer compatibility with its HTC Flow VR headset and Viverse ecosystem.

It’s no flagship tier hardware instead of a mediocre midrange device powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor paired with 8GB memory and 128GB internal storage that can further expand via a microSD card slot. Sporting a 6.6-inch 120Hz FHD+ LCD flat display and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Equipped with triple rear camera setup; 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP depth sensor. The front camera is a 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Packed with a 4,520 mAh battery and supports 18W wired and 15W wireless fast charging.

Besides its “Metaverse” compatibility, the Desire 22 Pro also comes with a built-in app that allows you directly manage your digital asset like Cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

The HTC Desire 22 Pro is going on sale in Taiwan starting 1st July followed by Europe on 1st August 2022. It will be priced at TWD 11,990 (approx. RM 1,774). No words it will release to more countries
