ASUS has finally announced its ZenFone flagship series, the ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro. The differences between the two variants are just the processor and camera features.
Both sports the same 6.67-inch SuperAMOLED Full HD+ resolution display with over 110% DCI-P3 and HDR10+. Despite having OLED display, the fingerprint scanner is located on the side power button.
The ZenFone 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor that found on the ASUS ROG Phone 3 where the standard ZenFone 7 get the not too shabby Snapdragon 865 and coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1. The ZenFone 7 Pro comes with 1 configuration; 8GB LPDDR5 and 256GB UFS 3.1.
The overall design is pretty similar to the ZenFone 6 which featuring a flip camera where you can use the main triple camera for front or rear shooting. It equipped with 64-megapixels SONY IMX686 main camera, 12-megapixels SONY IMX363 ultra-wide-angle and an 8-megapixels 3x optical zoom. The ZenFone 7 Pro has an upper hand featuring OIS where are the ZenFone 7 get EIS.
The duo packed with 5,000 mAh battery and support ASUS 30W fast charging. The ASUS ZenFone 7-series are available to be purchase in Taiwan now;

- ASUS ZenFone 7 (8GB + 128GB) – NT$ 23,990 (~MYR 3,405)
- ASUS ZenFone 7 Pro (6GB + 128GB) – NT$ 27,990 (~MYR 3,973)
Unfortunately, the ASUS ZenFone 7-series may not reach to Malaysia anytime soon like the ZenFone 6. This could be a good Vlog smartphone where it has quite capable camera setup.
