HUAWEI announced a more budget friendly HUAWEI MatePad Pro, HUAWEI MatePad.

The slate is powered by HUAWEI Kirin 810 processor which is not bad for a tablet, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It sports a slightly small 10.4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200. The bezel of the display is slightly thicker with the 8-megapixels front camera located on the top center bezel. The rear camera is a single 8-megapixels shooter that supports HDR and timelapse.

The MatePad supports HUAWEI M-Pencil that used on the “Pro” variant and runs on the EMUI 10.1 based Android 10. It packed the same 7,250 mAh battery capacity but only supports up to 18W fast charging.

It offers in two colour options; Grey and White; there are three variants; WiFi in 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB variants priced at RMB 1,899 (~MYR 1,169) and RMB 2,199 (~MYR 1,354). The LTE variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage is priced at RMB 2,499 (~MYR 1,538)
