Xiaomi spill the bean intentionally about their due to announce Mi9 all over their social media platform. The entire design and specs have unveiled and confirmed except the official price.

Here are the confirmed details of the Xiaomi Mi9

Sporting a 6.4-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a dewdrop notch. It has 600 nits brightness with over 60,000:1 contrast ratio on 1,080p Full HD+ resolution display. The Mi9 screen also protected by Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass 6

The in-display fingerprint scanner will be featured on the Mi9

Under the hood is Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC, Snapdragon 855. The Vice President of Xiaomi, Wang Xiang also revealed the AnTuTu Benchmark score with over 387,000 points

On the back is an all-curved glass design with a triple-camera setup.

The triple camera setup is consist of a 48-megapixels SONY IMX 586 sensor (12-megapixels, 4-in-1 binned pixel) with f/1.75 aperture, 12-megapixels 2x telephoto camera and a 16-megapixels 117-degree ultra wide camera.

The camera bump is protected by tough sapphire glass lens cover that endures and protects against scratches.

Some other features like smart antenna switches, 4×4 MIMO, HPUE, IR blaster, NFC and dual-frequency GPS.

Xiaomi also introduces a dedicated Google Assistant button that would initiate the Google Assistant by a press or hold the button.

The Xiaomi Mi9 is expected to unveil on the 24th February 2019 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona.

It will be available in three colour options; Blue, Pink & Black (the actual colour name will be announced). It uses a new nano-level laser engraving holographic technology and dual layer nano coating.

BONUS: Xiaomi may also announce a “Pro” or Explorer Edition” similar to the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition that features a transparent rear back glass.
