Today in China, Xiaomi has unveiled two new products; Xiaomi Redmi Pro and Mi Notebook Air. This is the first time Xiaomi to feature OLED display smartphone, Dual-cameras setup & first ever laptop by the company.
First, let start with Xiaomi Redmi Pro. As you may know, the Redmi-series are position at affordable smartphone lineup and it still live with the claims by offering unbeatable specification at impressively good price points.
The Redmi Pro come with 3 variants with the different offers of SoC, RAM and storage. The base model is powered by MediaTek Helio X20, 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The slightly higher model is powered with flagship’s SoC from MediaTek, Helio X25 with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The highest model get the MediaTek Helio X25, 4GB of RAM and enormous 128GB of onboard storage.
It sports first ever OLED panel with 5.5-inch Full HD display with impressively high 60,000:1 contrast ratio on a 2.5D curved glass. The device is wrapped with brushed aluminum body with CNC chamfered edges. It also feature hybrid dual SIM slot where the SIM2 slot work as microSD card slot.
Another highlights of the Redmi Pro is the rear dual cameras setup that packed with a 13 megapixel SONY IMX 258 sensor plus a 5 megapixel Samsung camera that allows you to shoot simultaneously with hardware-level depth of field processing for better bokeh dynamic. On the selfie department it get a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera.
Fingerprint sensor is located on the home button that is protected with ceramic glass. To keep the lights on, it packed with 4,050 mAh battery in an incredible thin and lightweight body.
The Redmi Pro currently will only be available in China and no words it will be available out of China in future. As mentioned, the prices are quite attractive with feature packed hardware;

Next is long rumored Mi Notebook, Xiaomi has confirmed the name as Mi Notebook Air and it comes with two variants, Mi Notebook Air 12.5 & Mi Notebook Air 13.3.
The Mi Notebook is the first-ever laptop from the company and it has an ultra-thin and ultra-light all metal built laptop. The first impression of the Mi Notebook is the familiarity of Apple Macbook Air.

Both of the Mi Notebook Air 12.5 & Mi Notebook Air 13.3 are priced at RMB 3,499 (approx RM 2,140 / US$ 525) and RMB 4,999 (approx. RM 3,058 / US$ 750) respectively. Like the Redmi Pro, currently the Mi Notebook Air will only be available in China.
