One of the smartphone giant company in China, Xiaomi has announced its new Redmi Note series; Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
The Redmi Note 4 is now having full metal unibody design over the Redmi Note 3 that has metal rear but the top and bottom parts are actually plastic.
Redmi Note 4 is the first Xiaomi’s smartphone that adopted MediaTek X20, Deca-core (10-cores) processor. It comes with two variants different by RAM and storage size; 2GB of RAM with 16GB onboard storage and 3GB of RAM with 64GB onboard storage.
It sports 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass. Just like the Redmi Note 3, it feature fingerprint sensor that mounted on the rear and has a large 4,100 mAh battery capacity. It also supports dual 4G SIM and feature hybrid SIM slot that support microSD card up to 128GB.
Camera wise, it packed with a 13 megapixel PDAF f/2.0 rear camera and 5 megapixel f/2.0 front-facing camera. Redmi Note 4 will be the first smartphone from Xiaomi to have MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-box.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be available in China starting tomorrow, 26th August 2016 and comes with three colors option; Gold, Dark Grey and Silver. The base model is priced at RMB 899 (about RM 545) whereby the high-spec model is priced at RMB 1,199 (approx. RM 727)
No words that the Redmi Note 4 will be available out of China. We may be expecting a Qualcomm variants for international market like the Redmi Note 3.
