Actual image of the unannounced Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 surfaced together the box.

Redmi series is a mid range budget smartphone from Xiaomi with decent specs. The Redmi Note 2 were revealed to be powered with MediaTek Helio X10 MT6592 octa-core 2GHz SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera.

As the model name carried, it has a big screen of 5.5-inch Full HD display and 3,020 mAh battery to keep the light on.

It will be running on MIUI 6.5 based on Android 5.0.2 and to be priced at RMB 799 (approx RM 505)

The Redmi Note 2 are expected to announce along with MIUI 7 update on 13th August 2015.
