Xiaomi has launched the more budget-friendly Redmi 8 in India.

It sports a 6.22-inch HD+ resolution display with a Dewdrop notch that houses an 8-megapixels camera. Redmi 8 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 mated with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

Rear cameras are a 12-megapixels SONY IMX363 and a 2-megapixels depth sensor. It packed with 5,000 mAh battery that charge via updated 18W Fast Charging USB Type-C.

Currently, the Redmi 8 is only offered in India with the starting price of INR 7,999 (~MYR 473) for 3GB + 32GB and INR 8,999 (~MYR 532) for 4GB + 64GB. It comes with three colour options; Onyx Black, Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue.
