Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro smartphone is announced and the device comes with a 5.84-inch IPS display with resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 and it has a notch.

Under the hood is an out-dated by power efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. It comes with three variants; 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB with 32GB storage and 4GB with 64GB storage.

Camera wise, its a 12-megapixel plus 5-megapixel dual camera system. The selfie camera is a 5-megapixel sensor. Both supported HDR and AI portrait mode.

The Redmi 6 Pro is packed with 4,000 mAh battery and runs on latest MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The price start from RMB 999 (RM 615), RMB 1,199 (RM 738) and RMB 1,299 (RM 799) respectively. It will be available in China starting tomorrow and pre-order has begun this morning.

There’s no word that it will be made available out of China anytime soon.
