After the announcement of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, the Mi MIX 2 was introduced. The company keep the DNA and improvised the design the Mi MIX that announced a year ago.
The new Mi MIX 2 sport a 5.99-inch display that has a bigger body-to-screen ratio and uses the 18:9 screen ratio. This made the device look taller yet has a smaller footprint that has the same display size. This time, the company uses a real earpiece speaker instead of piezoelectric that many people find it’s not that effective.
Same as the predecessor, it wrapped with a durable curved ceramic body that can withstand scratches better than the latest Corning Gorilla glass.
Under the hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 paired with 6GB/8GB or RAM. Storage wise are from 64GB up to 256GB.
Camera wise, it packed with only single camera shooter, a 12-megapixel SONY IMX 386 that features 4 axis Optical Image Stabilization. Fingerprint scanner is located below the rear camera.
The device support Global LTE, 43 bands and uses 4×4 MIMO WiFi.

There are potential that the Mi MIX 2 will be made available globally as the has supported Global LTE bands and the demands of bezel-less display smartphone are high.
