Today Xiaomi Malaysia has announced their newest Mi 9-series smartphone, Mi 9T. The Mi 9T basically is the Redmi K20 is other countries and offered very attractive specs vs price.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T may not be specced up as a flagship but it built as one. It powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 based on 8nm process chipset and has very similar performance with last year flagship, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. It offers only 6GB of RAM but it has two storage sizes to choose from; 64GB or 128GB.
The display is the 6.39-inch AMOLED Full HD+ resolutions display with an in-built optical fingerprint scanner under the display. It has a very minimum forehead, chin, side bezels and no notch or dewdrop. With this, the device able to offers 91.9% screen-to-body ratio.
Coming to the cameras, the Mi 9T has a pop-up 20-megapixels selfie camera that does facial recognition. It has tested over 300,000 cycles up-down and has auto retract the camera when detected fallen motion. The rear camera setup is the same with the flagship, Mi 9. 48-megapixels main sensor, 13-megapixels ultra wide and an 8-megapixels 2x telephoto that also works as a depth sensor.
Xiaomi Mi 9Tis equipped with 4,000 mAh battery and support Quick Charge 18W. It will be running on the latest MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It priced at RM 1,199 and RM 1,399 for 64GB and 128GB respectively. The 64GB variant will only be available exclusively on Lazada Malaysia where the 128GB will be available at all Mi Store in Malaysia starting 29th June 2019.
It will be available for pre-booking (add to wishlist) on Lazada Malaysia starting today and the official pre-order will take place on the 25th June 2019 at 10 am. For those who “managed” to pre-order before the stock ran out will get RM 100 discount off, meaning the Xiaomi Mi 9T will be priced at RM 1,099 on that day.
