Good news to all Malaysia Mi Fans! Xiaomi Malaysia teased that the Xiaomi’s 2016 flagship smartphone, Mi 5 will be coming to Malaysia very soon.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 that announced early this year during MWC 2016 is powered with  Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM. It sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display and offers 16 megapixel rear camera and as well a 4 megapixel front facing camera.

Mi 5 will be running on the latest MiUi 7 that based on Android Marshmallow. There are 3 variants model introduced in China;

• Snapdragon 820 (1.80GHz), 32GB – RMB 1,999 (approx RM 1,239)
• Snapdragon 820 (2.15GHz), 64GB – RMB 2,299 (approx RM 1,425)
• Snapdragon 820 (2.15GHz), 128GB (Pro) – RMB 2,699 (approx RM 1,673)

There is no actual date mentioned but this tells us that there gonna be another option and affordable flagship smartphone this year.
