Xiaomi held a launch of its latest Xiaomi Mi 11 yesterday alongside our neighbour country, Singapore.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 is the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 powered device made available here in Malaysia. Coming to specs, there’s isn’t much different compared to the global launch that took place a couple of weeks ago.
Here’s a quick recap of the specification; Mi 11 offers a 6.81-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate at WQHD+ resolutions. The hole-punch notch on the top left corner houses a 20-megapixels front camera.
Keeping the lights on is a 4,600 mAh battery that supports 55W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. On the rear is a triple camera setup; 1098-megapixels main camera that shoot up to 8K at 30fps, a 13-megapixels ultrawide and a 5-megapixels telemacro lens.
Malaysia brought in both of the configurations; 8GB LPDDR5 coupled with either 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage technology. The 128GB variant is offered at RM 2,799 whereas the 256GB at RM 200 extra which is RM 2,999. The 256GB variant is available for pre-order now and will receive the device from 13th March 2021 onwards. Those who pre-order will receive a Mi Air Purifier 3C worth RM 569 and it’s limited to the first 1,500 who pre-order on the Xiaomi LazMall.
