Xiaomi just announced their second gaming phone under their sub-company Black Shark. The Black Shark was released 6 months ago and now replaced with Black Shark Helo, yeap it’s not Black Shark 2 was rumor speculated.

The Black Shark Helo powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and uses dual liquid cooling pipes solution. It also has this Gamer Studio that optimized the gaming experience similar to ASUS ROG Phone X-Game mode.

It comes with 3 variants; 6GB + 128GB, 8GB +128GB and 10GB + 256GB.

The Black Shark Helo sports a 6-inch AMOLED display over LCD display previously and it has resolutions of Full HD+, 100% DCI-P3 NTSC and supports HDR.

Follow suit with the ROG Phone, the Black Shark Helo now has RGB lightning on the back that programmable to the end-user needs.

It has a dual front-firing stereo speaker for better gaming and entertainment experience.

Cameras setup are similar to the Black Shark, 12-megapixels + 20-megapixels rear camera and 20-megapixels selfie camera. Both front and rear are A.I. powered.

Xiaomi also introduced a new GamePad controller in two pieces (left & right) where the previous model only has one.

The Xiaomi BlackShark Helo will be available for pre-order in China market at the moment starting 30th October 2018. The 6GB and 8GB variants will get 1 controller only whereby the 10GB get both. 6GB and 8GB variants are priced at RMB 3,199 (about RM 1,920) and RMB 3,499 (RM 2,100) respectively. Whereby the 10GB variant will be announced later.
