Xiaomi has just unveiled the second generation of their affordable phablet, Redmi Note. The new Redmi Note 2 has a quite impressive spec for the price you paying.
It powered with MediaTek MTK Helio X10 SoC, a flagship processor that can be found on HTC M9+ and Meizu MX5. It mated with 2GB of RAM and storage option of 16GB or 32GB. The phablet has a 5.5-inch full HD display and a 3,060mAh removable battery to keep the light on.
On camera, it adopted a 13 megapixels PDAF camera that able to focus at 0.1 second. On the front sat a 5 megapixel camera.
It will also runs on the latest MIUI 7 OS based on Android 5 Lollipop.
Since it’s uses a rather highend chip, the get a rather impressive AnTuTu performance that touched 50,000 score as compare to others flagship device.

The Redmi Note 2 has 3 variants; Redmi Note 2 (China), Redmi Note 2 (Global) & Redmi Note 2 Prime that has faster SoC and bigger storage. The Redmi Note 2 will have the MediaTek MT6792, octa-core 2.0GHz processor whereby the Redmi Note 2 Prime will have the MediaTek MT6795, octa-core 2.2GHz processor and twice storage size.
The starting price of Redmi Note 2 (China) is RMB 799 (RM 502), Redmi Note 2 (Global) RMB 899 (RM 565) and Redmi Note 2 Prime RMB 999 (RM 628)
