Xiaomi has just announced another new breakthrough on offering probably the World’s fastest Wireless Fast Charging at 80W. That doubled the currently commercial wireless fast charge offered by HUAWEI during the HUAWEI P40-series launch.

According to Xiaomi, the 80W Wireless Fast Charge able to top-up a flat 4,000 mAh battery from 0% to 50% in just 8 minutes and 100% at just 19 minutes only. This even faster than the 65W wired fast charge offered by OPPO and Xiaomi themself.

No details on how’s the charging setup like dual charging or charging protection for such high power input.

The company didn’t reveal much on what and when it will be commercialized to use on their products yet. We can expect to be featured on Xiaomi’s latest flagship smartphone incoming release.
