World’s First 8GB of RAM Smartphone, ASUS ZenFone AR

ASUS has officially unveiled its world’s first 8GB of RAM smartphone, this is also their first Google Tango and Daydream VR certified phone at CES 2017 in Las Vegas.

The ZenFone AR comes with 3 onboard image sensors provide the necessary data or Google Tango computer vision augmented reality to map real environments with spatial information, captured such that the scanned data can be realized and manipulated instantly inside the phone or pulled out to use in other applications. This allows the device to gauge its movement through 3D space and allowing augmented imagery to be overlaid convincingly on to a real-world environment.

The ZenFone AR is also Daydream VR certified that offers another great alternative over to the Google’s Pixel XL. It also includes a heat pipe to help keep things cool as the high demands placed on all the processors inside the SoC (CPU, GPU, DSP, ISP) when running AR and VR applications.

On top of that ASUS ZenFone AR also received the “Best Smartphone of CES 2017”. Congratulations ASUS!

ASUS ZenFone AR will be available in Q2 FY17 at selected countries, no words it will reach to Malaysia.
