Improves system response time by 30%. It optimized system loading data and app animation in parallel thus you will see noticeable speed improvement.

Showtime
You can assign a short video for your contact. When a person calls, a five second video starts playing in loop on your homescreen.

Child Mode
This give users control on what access and apps that you kids can see.

You get more option on text sizes for greater readability

Auto DND
When you paired with Mi Band, it will get to know you have gone to sleep and it will automatically puts your smartphone to Do Not Disturb mode.

Data Saver
In partner with Opera Max, the new MIUI provide a new smart data saver which compress browser and in-app media, allow you to save up to 50% data usage

Improved Battery Performance
MIUI 7 optimizes background processes and extends battery life by 10%. It optimize WiFi, network data, GPS and aligns processing across apps when on standby to prevents CPU from waking and running at different intervals.

Baby Album
It uses facial recognition to detect baby photos in your camera rolls and automatically arrange them in a separate album for ease of browsing
