TM today announced that migration copper-based Streamyx users to the new unifi Lite plan starting 1st of September 2019.

The new unifi Lite will be priced at RM 69/month for existing Streamyx users and those who subscribed to unifi Lite RM 99 since 2019 will be revised the monthly subscription fee.

The unifi Lite will get up to 8Mbps and if it doesn’t get the offered speeds, they will be offered the unifi Air plan instead.

unifi Air is a wireless solution for existing Streamyx users that couldn’t get 8Mbps speeds due to location and copper line limitation.

The new unifi Air is priced at RM 79/month and it doesn’t come with any quota capping and able to deliver up to 20Mbps speeds. The subscriber will also receive a HUAWEI B618 router for free and of course, they will be tied to a 24-months contract.

Currently, the unifi Air is being prioritized to existing Streamyx users. The existing unifi Wireless Broadband Plan will also be offered the same unlimited quota.
