As mentioned early this month, Mi Malaysia will be bring in their phablet Redmi Note 3 to Malaysia this coming April and we will be getting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 variants instead of the MediaTek Helio X10.
I was lucky enough to receive a review unit from Mi Malaysia. Here I’ll be sharing with you an unboxing video of the Redmi Note 3 and some close up photos of the device;

These are the items you will find inside the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Do take note, the unit that I received is not the actual Malaysia set as the power adaptor is not for Malaysia’s power outlet.

On the left you will find the SIM & microSD card slot. It would required SIM slot ejector.
On the right hand side is the volume rocker and power button
Top you will find the 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster and second microphone that work as noise cancellation.
The SIM slot support micro SIM and as well nano SIM. The second SIM slot also works as microSD card slot if you are not using the second SIM or vice versa.
It comes with a quick charge 5V, 2A adaptor that able to complete full charge the 4,000 mAh battery at 2 hours and 20 minutes.

do you recommend waiting for the official release or just buy it from lelong,lazada etc etc?
I would suggest u to wait. U just need to wait next month beside that official price would be cheaper than import set and warranty u can refer to Mi Malaysia instead unknown dealer.
