The unboxing experience of the Huawei P10 is superb. The box unfolds from the middle outward with the left and right side reveal the phone on top is simply genius (it’s like opening a case with diamond ring in it) The phone comes with a screen protector pre-installed and a semi-transparent hard case where you don’t have to look around for accessories to protect your device.

The P10 that I receive was the Graphite Black; by nature of the color the P10 does look very small despite it has a 5.1-inch display. Another contribution were the slim size bezels and small top chin and forehead. This actually make the phone more compact while having a larger display.
Huawei has never failed in building premium quality for their high-end devices. The rear aluminium panel has matte finish that doesn’t attract much fingerprints easily at the same time made it more grippy while holding it.
On the right side of the Huawei P10 you will see volume rocker and home button accompany with a red metallic trim. This does look very unique and give me a Leica’s product feel. Both of the buttons are very solid and tactile making it very different comparing to other budget phone.
Below of the screen is the capacitive home button that doubled as fingerprint scanner. Bottom of the device is the 3.5mm audio jack, microphone, USB Type-C and the downward firing speaker.
Top of the display you will find LED notifications, an 8 megapixel front selfie camera and ear-speaker.
On the left side is the hybird SIM card slot located. The Huawei P10 support dual SIM and dual standby. The second SIM will be scarified if you want to use microSD card to expand your phone storage.
On the rear is where you find the dual camera setup that similar to the Huawei P9. The P10’s new “Leica Dual Camera 2.0” has this new Portrait mode that taking advantage of “Accurate 3D facial detection, dynamic illumination and natural portrait enhancements” More of this feature will be shared on my comprehensive review of the device very soon.
Huawei does include SuperCharger for faster charging that goes up to 5A.
A premium semi-transparent hard case is included in the box where you can use the device straight away without worry of getting cases before using it.

Overall the Huawei P10 gave me a very impressive impression in term of built and hardware by it spec sheet. I’ll have a comprehensive review of the device very soon to conclude whether this is a worthy device to buy.
