Toshiba Corporation is a Japanese multinational conglomerate company that offers diversified products and services; elevators and escalators, semiconductor, Hard Drive, Personal Computer and more.

A few days ago, Toshiba Corp announced its transfer of 19.9% of the balance shares in Dynabook Inc to Sharp Corporation. This makes Sharp fully own Dynabook Inc. and marked the end of Toshiba in manufacturing PC since 1985.

We not sure Sharp would retaining the Dynabook branding if they still producing any PC or laptop in coming future or only sell solely within Japan like what happened to SONY VAIO few years ago.
