Confirmed that the just launched iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and iPad Pro get doubled up it memory from previous model. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will have 2GB of RAM and the iPad Pro will get 4GB of RAM.

The iPhone has been stuck on 1GB of RAM since iPhone 5 which launched in 2012 and iPad Air 2 has only 2GB of RAM. Will be expecting better experience with the iOS 9 and on the iPad platform, larger RAM is vital in offering better multitasking execution.
