Vivo teased the 6GB of RAM + Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 has unveiled. The Vivo Xplay 5 will be the first smartphone to carry 6GB of RAM and adopted dual-curved display that similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge & S7 edge.

The Xplay 5 comes with two variants; Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 with 4GB of RAM and the highest end Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 6GB of RAM. Both of the device get an enormous 128GB onboard storage with no microSD card slot support. The rest of the hardware and design are the same.

Xplay 5 sports a 5.43-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution (believe from Samsung panel) and feature a metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device. The new USB Type-C were found below of the device.

The device has a 16 megapixel rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture lens. As for the front camera, it integrated with an 8 megapixel wide angle lens.

The Vivo Xplay 5 packed with a 3,600 mAh battery and support dual engine fast charging. It will be running on its own FunTouch OS on top of Android Lollipop 5.1 (Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be updated soon)

It will only be available in China at the moment and it comes with Gold or Pink color option.
