SONY Malaysia has officially listed their upcoming flagship smartphones, the SONY Xperia 1ii which was announced earlier this year and the Xperia 5ii.

Both of the devices are camera-centric that adopted from the SONY Alpha cameras like RAW supports, Eye Autofocus, and even the camera UI. SONY uses ZEISS optics for all its cameras.

The Xperia 1ii and 5ii packed with similar internal and camera sensors. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Keeping the lights on is a 4,000 mAh battery that supports USB PD fast charging. The Xperia 1ii get Qi wireless charging.

Rear camera sensors; 12-megapixels 1.17″ Exmor RS 24mm focal main camera, 12-megapixels 1/3.4″ 70mm telephoto camera and a 12-megapxiels 1/2.55″ Exmor RS 16mm ultrawide. The front camera is an 8-megapixels f/2.0 aperture lens with 84° field of view.

The only main difference are the display; the SONY Xperia 1ii has bigger 6.5-inch 4K OLED display panel whereby the Xperia 5ii sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate.

The SONY Xperia 1ii and 5ii are launch somewhere in November and December. It priced at RM 4,999 and RM 4,099 respectively.
