Qualcomm has just released its first 8K video shot with Snapdragon 865 SoC. It’s gonna be available on high-end devices this year and expected the new Samsung Galaxy S20 will be the first to packed with this new chipset.
The Spectra 480 ISP in the Snapdragon 865 is capable to process 2 gigapixels per seconds, it meant it able to handle 200-megapixels still images while simultaneously capture 4K HDR video and 64-megapixels stills.
The video recorded above were used with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 on a SONY IMX586 48-megapixels sensor on a “Prototype Smartphone” The video sampling is impressively good and high in details especially HDR.
