According to Canalys, Samsung, OPPO and vivo are the top three smartphone brand in Malaysia in quarter two 2019.

Samsung holds the top spot by 27% followed by OPPO 20% and vivo at 16%. But based on year on year growth, Samsung has a dramatic drop of 35% compared to last year. This same goes for HUAWEI at 36%.

On the other hand, Xiaomi and OPPO have increased by 28% and 23% respectively. Apple is not in the top 5 list as there’s no new iPhone announced in quarter 2 2019 and Samsung could be higher as the Galaxy Note10 has just recently announced.
