
Samsung has just unveiled its latest foldable smartphones; the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. These are also the first foldable smartphones that feature IPX8 water-resistant on both devices. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 also supports S-Pen Foldable Edition. To enhance its built and toughness of the devices; Samsung uses a new Armor Aluminium which is 10% stronger yet lighter. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus was also used on the glasses as well.

Aesthatecially, it does look pretty identical with the current Galaxy Z Fold2 but with more internal improvement and uses new cutting edge technology of the under-display camera on the internal screen. The front 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x Display now gets a smooth adaptive 120Hz refresh rate while the internal sports a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x Display with also adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Z Fold3 also uses new Eco display technology which offers 29% brighter while consuming less energy.
Samsung claimed to have improved 80% rigidity of the main display by including a new protective film made of stretchable PET and optimized panel layers. Thus, for the first time ever on the Galaxy Z series, Samsung brought its beloved Note series technology to Z Fold3 – the S Pen functionality. It’s a total different S pen specially designed for the Galaxy Z Fold3; S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro. Both the S Pen feature retractable Pro tip with force limit technology to protect the main screen.
Featuring triple 12-megapixels camera; 12-megapixels main camera dual pixel AF with OIS main camera, 12-megapixels ultrawide and a 12-megapixels 2x optical telephoto. The hole-punch cutout on the secondary display is a 10-megapixels f/2.2. camera while the under-display camera on the main camera is just a 4-megapixels sensor.
The Z Fold3 is now thinner and lighter compared to the Galaxy Z Fold2 and comes with three colour options: Phantom Black, Phantom Green and Phantom Silver.

Coming o the Galaxy Z Flip3, the major upgrade is the cover screen which is now bigger and more usable with a 1.9-inch SuperAMOLED display. The same 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x main screen now gets a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The main display on the Z Flip3 gets the same screen protection treatment as the Z Fold3.
A 10-megapixels f/2.2 camera houses on the hole-punch cutout, while the rear dual camera is the same 12-megapixels Dual Pixel AF with OIS main camera and a 12-megapixels ultrawide.
Given four colour options for the Galaxy Z Flips including Cream, Green, Lavender & Phantom Black.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or Samsung Exynos 2100 depends on which country region. The Z Fold3 is packed with a 4,400 mAh battery while the Z Flip3 has only a 3,300mAh battery.
