Samsung also unveiled the new Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series at the Samsung Unpacked event alongside with the new Samsung Galaxy Z-series.
The Galaxy Buds2 Pro is Samsung’s new top-of-the-line earbuds that offer superior Hi-Fi 24-bit Audio. The new buds is compact, 15% smaller, and have an ergonomic design with a secure fit that is engineered to prevent rotation, making it a perfect fitness companion.
Features Active Noise Cancelling, 360 Spatial Audio, and Auto Switch that can seamlessly switch the audio connection.
The earbuds provide up to 8 hours (ANC Off) or a total of 29 hours (ANC Off) with the charging case.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro offers in three color options; Graphite, White, and Bora Purple. It will be priced at RM 899.
There are 2 new Galaxy Watches, the vanilla Galaxy Watch5 and a Pro version that tailor for outdoor enthusiasts. The Galaxy Watch5 has an armor aluminum case with a sport band whereas the Watch5 Pro is encased with Titanium and D-Buckle sport band. For the first time, Samsung uses a durable Sapphire Crystal for its Galaxy Watch, the Watch5 offers 2 sizes; 44mm (1.4″ 450×450 Super AMOLED display) and 40mm (1.2″ 396×396 Super AMOLED). The Pro only comes with one size, 45mm (1.4″ 450×450 Super AMOLED). Packed with a bigger battery now; Galaxy Watch5 44mm (410mAh), 40mm (284mAh), and Watch5 Pro (590mAh).
Features Samsung BioActive Sensor (Optical Heart Rate + Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis), Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, and Light Sensor. It’s also 5ATM + IP68 water-dust resistant and meets MIL-STD-810H military standards.
They are powered by Exynos W920 Dual-core @1.18GHz processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will be running on Google WearOS 3.5 with One UI Watch 4.5 skin.
