Samsung Malaysia added two new beautiful pastel colours for its Galaxy A22 series devices; Galaxy A22 and Galaxy A22 5G; Mint and Violet.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is their most affordable 5G smartphone after the Galaxy A32 5G which we reviewed earlier. The Galaxy A22 is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. As for the Galaxy A22 5G gets a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

Other differences between these two models are the display and the cameras. The Galaxy A22 sports a 6.4-inch 90Hz HD+ SuperAMOLED display where the 5G variant gets a slightly bigger 6.6-inch 90Hz FHD+ TFT LCD display. Both are equipped with a 48-megapixels main camera a 2-megapixels depth sensor. The Galaxy A22 gets an 8-megapixels ultrawide and a dedicated 2-megapixels macro camera where the 5G get a 5-megapixels ultrawide as the third camera.

The duo is packed with a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. Runs on Samsung latest OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11.
