Samsung Announced Galaxy A9 (2018), World’s First Rear Quad-cameras

Samsung Malaysia held an Unpack event yesterday unveiled their latest Samsung Galaxy A-series. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) was announced last month that features a triple rear camera setup. As for the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), it’s one step ahead featured World’s first quadruple rear camera setup.

The Galaxy A9 is a mid-range device powered by Samsung Exynos 7885 Octa-core SoC, mated with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can further expand with a 500GB microSD card. Powering the device is a 3,800 mAh battery that supports fast charge via USB Type-C.

It sports a huge 6.3-inch SuperAMOLED display with a resolution of 2,220 x 1,080 and protected with Corning Gorilla glass.

Comes to the cameras, it equipped with quad rear cameras. A 24-megapixels standard zoom camera with f/1.7 aperture lens, assisted by a 5-megapixels depth sensor. It also has an ultra-wide 8-megapixels f/2.4 aperture camera with 120-degree wide and a telephoto with 2x zoom 10-megapixels camera.

The selfie camera is a high-resolution 24-megapixel camera sensor and a f/2.0 aperture lens. All the camera are A.I. powered that capable to recognize up to 19 scenes and adjust the correct settings for fast and easy point-and-shoot.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) will be available in November 2018 and price to be announced later. It comes with three color options; Lemonade Blue, Cavier Black, and Bubblegum Pink.
