[RUMORS] Things To Expect About The HONOR 20

Counting down 5 days to the launch of the HONOR 20 series in London, HONOR has dropped few teasers about the device. There are even some leak photo and specification of the device online. Here is what we know about the HONOR 20 series from the leaks around.

A photo of the actual device has leaked by Amritanshu Mukherjee from India Today. From the image, we can confirm the HONOR 20 is glass sandwiched, featuring 4 cameras on the rear and no fingerprint scanner on the back. Potentially it’s will be side-mounted power button fingerprint scanner as the HONOR 20-series speculated to sport 6.26-inch IPS LCD display with a hole-punch on the top left.

There’s gonna be 2 variants; HONOR 20 and HONOR 20 Pro. Leaks from Slashleaks, as there will be 2 different Quad-camera setups,

The “Pro” variant would get a 3x optical zoom with OIS where the standard HONOR 20 only a depth sensor. HONOR also introduced the first macro camera on a smartphone, a 2-megapixels f/2.4 1.75-micron camera sensor. The main camera is no other SONY IMX 586 48-megapixels pixels binned that found on the Xiaomi Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE. Both of the devices will get a 16-megapixels f/2.2 ultra wide angle camera.

As for internal hardware, the HONOR 20 said to be powered by HUAWEI Kirin 980 SoC that features on the latest HUAWEI P30-series. The based model will get at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Not sure it has storage expands slot.

According to xda-developer, the HONOR 20 is packed with 3,750 mAh battery and supports SuperCharge up to 22.5W. Similar to HONOR View20, the HONOR 20 is expected to have HONOR MagicUI instead of EMUI which based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The new HONOR 20 series will be officially unveiled on 21st May 2019 as we will be covering the news and update.
