Edifier W200BT is a budget sport wireless Bluetooth earphone that features updated Bluetooth V5.0, IPX5 Splash Proof and magnetic earbuds where you can wear it like a necklace when you are not ready to keep the earphone. Do take note, the magnet will not disconnect/power off the Bluetooth earphone when stacked together.

Let’s begin with what’s inside the box;

Design

The earbuds are light and the earphone has symmetry design. Normally the battery is packed together with the multimedia button/on the earbuds instead the W200BT SE has a bulge similar size to the controller that kept the battery.

Some may not find it important but some OCD would, personally I prefer this design where I would feel the balance weight especially when I wearing it for exercise.

It comes with three different eartips and earwings to fit different ear canal size. The earwings help to secure firmly onto your ear so it would drop out easily even with intense workouts. After all, this is a sport Wireless Earphone.

Sound Quality

The newer Edifier earphone supports Edifier Connect App that supports both Android and iOS devices. The app allows you to change your earphone equaliser mode (Classics, Pop, Rock and Blues), battery level status and also swipe between songs.

The 10mm drivers are calibrated by sonic and electrical engineers producing high-quality sound. On our test, the sound stage wasn’t that wide as what I expected and the low-end frequencies are pretty much noticeable. I can change the equaliser mode with just a tap via the app to match any songs I’m playing.

Battery Life

Although the Edifier W200BT SE is a budget entry-level Bluetooth earphone, it still offers up to 7 hours usage time with 1.5 hours battery charge from flat. Real-world usage, I can get about 3 days of music playback with 2-3 hours/day.
