Redmi, once subsidiary company of Xiaomi and now a standalone company unveiled its flagship smartphone yesterday in China. There are total 3 models; the Redmi K40, K40 Pro and K40 Pro+.

The series come equipped with the latest Samsung E4 AMOLED display at 6.67-inch Full HD+ resolutions, 120HZ refresh rate and max brightness up to 1,300 nit.

Redmi K40 Pro and Pro+ get the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 whereby the K40 packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. Additionally, the main camera made the differences between the series. The K40 equipped with a 48-megapixels SONY IMX582 sensor, K40 Pro uses a 64-megapixels IMX686 sensor and the K40 Pro+ features a 108-megapixels HM2 camera sensor from Samsung. The main camera paired with an 8-megapixels ultrawide and a 5-megapixels telemacro camera. The centre hole-punch notch houses a 20-megapixels camera sensor.

The rest of the hardware are same across board including LiquidCool Technology, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, Wi-Fi 6 (Wi-Fi 6E on the Pro and Pro+) and packed with 4,520 mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging.
The Redmi K40-series are offered in three colour options; Glossy Black, Icy White and Dreamland.
