Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi has introduced a new WiFi 6 router in China with an attractive price tag.

The Redmi AX5 is powered by 14nm Qualcomm IPQ6000 1.2GHz CPU with 1.5GHz NPU chipset, coupled with 256MB of RAM supports up to 128 connected devices.

The WiFi router based on 802.11ax supports has 2×2 antenna 2.4GHz WiFi that deliver up to 574Mbps where the 2×2 antenna 5GHz WiFi deliver up to 1,201Mbps.

On the rear of the router, there are 4 Gigabit Port (3x LAN and 1x WAN). The router also works as a Mesh network if you have multiple Redmi AX5 router to create a wider network.

The Redmi AX5 is available for pre-order in China now starting from 17th of June 2020 with price tag of RMB 249 (~MYR 150)
