realme has launched its first-ever tablet and it’s called “realme Pad”. It’s a not as speculated high-end tablet that competing with Apple iPad or even close with the HUAWEI MatePad 11 or Xiaomi Mi Pad 5.
It’s a mid-range tablet, which is powered by a pretty dated, MediaTek Helio G80 with RAM option up to 4GB and 64GB onboard storage. Sporting a 10.4″ WUXGA+ resolution at 2,400 x 1,200 and is paired with a 7,100 mAh battery with an 18W fast charge. The company claims the realme Pad can deliver 12 hours of video playback and 65 days of standby time. The tablet has a pretty sleek profile design at only 6.9mm thickness and weight at just 440 grams.
Elsewhere, the realme Pad features a quad-speaker with Dolby Atmos and an 8-megapixels ultrawide front and rear camera. It will be running on realme UI for Pad based on Android 11 with some features designed for tablets.
It comes with Wi-Fi and 4G variants and will be available in India starting 16th September 2021. Offered in two colour options; Real Gray and Real Gold and priced as per below;
- 3GB + 32GB (Wi-Fi) – INR 13,999 (~ RM 790 / US$ 190)
- 3GB + 32GB (4G) – INR 15,999 (~ RM 903 / US$ 218)
- 4GB + 64GB (4G) – INR 17,999 (~ RM 1,015 / US$ 245)
It may be reaching to Malaysia shore soon. Frankly, it’s great to have more tablet options especially budget tablets which are more than enough for schooling use.
