Realme 2 by OPPO is Coming to Malaysia with More Budget-Friendly

Some of you may not have heard of a brand name Realme smartphone. This is actually a sub-company by OPPO that makes it first appearance in India. Yes, it does sound like HUAWEI and honor relationship.

The first device Realme or Realme 1 was introduced in May 2018 specced with mid-range hardware and three months down the road, the company decided to release a new device that would meet the new trend needs like FullView display, dual rear camera and budget conscious. 

The Realme 2 by OPPO features rear diamond cut pattern like the OPPO F7 and it comes with three colour options; Diamond Black, Diamond Blue and Diamond Red.

Under the hood, is a bit underpower Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mated with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB onboard storage. This makes sense when the company target to have it a more budget-friendly device.

It sports a 6.2-inch with a resolution of 1,520 x 720 and a notch that housed an 8-megapixels camera. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The dual rear camera is a 13-megapixels f/2.2 plus a 2-megapixels f/2.4 that works as a depth sensor.

The Realme 2 runs on the same OPPO’s OS, ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Realme 2 is now officially available in India for the price INR 8,990 (about RM 519) and INR 10,990 (approx. RM 635) for 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB respectively.
