Pocophone X2 To Be Announced on 4th February – Features High Refresh Rate Display & 64MP SONY IMX686 Camera

When we were thought the Pocophone-series has died off after the release of the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro aka Redmi K20 Pro in China. Pocophone has dropped an announcement that they will be announcing a new smartphone on 4th February 2020 on their official website.

The new Pocophone will be called Pocophone X2 instead of F2 which we weren’t sure what’s the reason behind this. But the website did tease a few key features that the new Pocophone X2 will be getting.

First is high refresh rate display that great for gaming and hinting the device will be equipped with 64-megapixels SONY IMX686 camera sensor.

The X2 will be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and comes with a liquid cooling heatpipe that’s common on the most flagship smartphones out there.

It will also be supporting fast charging and retaining the 3.5mm audio jack

There’s a rumor the Pocophone X2 is actually based on the Redmi K30 that announced late last year. The Redmi K30 sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120Hz LCD display with a dual hole-punch front camera; 20-megapixels and 2-megapixels depth sensor. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G with configuration up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage. There’s a possibility that the Pocophone X2 will be carrying the late last year capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus to meet the budget and flagship performance.
