The OPPO’s new line, Reno-series has come to 3rd generation in just one year and unveiled its latest Reno3-series. Both of the devices are 5G supported by dual-mode 5G (NSA/SA). To be surprised both doesn’t feature any flagship SoC instead of mid-range 5G supported chipset by Qualcomm and MediaTek

OPPO Reno3 Pro

The OPPO Reno3 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset that comes with an integrated 5G modem. It coupled up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

It sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ OLED display with both curved sides like the Samsung Galaxy display. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and rated a 1,100 nits brightness and supports HDR10+, DCI-P3 and 500,000 : 1 contrast ratio.

Photography wise, it’s a quad-rear camera setup aligned on the top left corner. It sports an older generation Sony sensor, 48-megapixels IMX586, 8-megapixels f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 13-megapixels f/2.4 telephotos with 5x hybrid zoom and a 2-megapixels monochrome camera. It now gets a hole-punch notch on the top left corner that houses 32-megapixels camera.

OPPO Reno3

The slightly budget OPPO Reno3 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000L SoC that supports dual-mode 5G and coupled up to 12GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

It doesn’t feature dual-sided curved display nor 90Hz refresh rate display, instead not noticeable 6.4-inch OLED Full HD+ flat display and a “Dewdrop” 32-megapixels notch.

Camera-wise, 64-megapixels main camera, an 8-megapixels ultra-wide-angle, a 2-megapixels depth sensor and a 2-megapixels monochrome.

Both of the devices packed with 4,025mAh battery that supports OPPO VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology that goes up to 30W.
