OPPO Malaysia has confirmed the release of its new Reno-series smartphone, the Reno6 and Reno6 Z. The OPPO Reno6 wasn’t new as it was already unveiled in India a couple of weeks ago along with Reno6 Pro. The Reno6 Z was new and probably to be launched globally.
The OPPO Reno6 has a totally new redesign where it now has a flat chassis similar to the Apple iPhone 12. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G based on a 6nm production process. Keeping it cool is a 9200mm graphite heat dissipation and a 2363mm VC heat dissipation area, the Multi-Cooling system helps keep the device cooler.
Photography wise, the Reno6 is equipped with a 64-megapixels main camera, 8-megapixels ultrawide, 2-megapixels macro and a depth sensor. The 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED features a hole-punch cutout that houses a 32-megapixels front camera. Packed with 4,300 mAh battery and supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0.
As for the Reno6 Z, there aren’t many details released, speculated it will be a MediaTek powered device with 5G capability and a similar design to the Reno6-series.
OPPO Malaysia did shared with us that the launched will take place by this month, we shall get to know the official launch date and pricing very soon.
